JDK1.5 used to be installed on my machine ... then i had to take it off

Downloaded the lates beta from Sun to try it out. I ran the much talked about Swing demo and was very impressed. However getting back to real work, I noticed that Orion would not work. Complaining of invalid JAR format! ARGH what has Sun done to us!!!

Removing JDK1.5 and resorting back to JDK1.4, my world was back to normal again. Anyone else had problems?

I think lots of people had to take it off.
There are a lot of things that need to be modified to run with it.

It will work, just not with java -jar orion.jar use:

java -cp orion.jar; com.evermind.server.ApplicationServer

=)

Yeah. Sure i'm facing lot of class dependency prob. But in general i find the built in management capabilities very useful. It's a big leap from 1.4
