Okay, so this is wishful thinking on my part, Amazon taking the initiative and renaming their very powerful SimpleDB product Amazon Registry. Let me present my case for why they should.

Getting access to Amazon's SimpleDB doesn't require a huge amount of complicated classes or libraries. Building upon a single class, I have added some helper methods that lets you put data in and out with a single class, no external JARs.
