Even the big boys have problems. Microsoft's cloud offering Azure, still in pre-beta status, had a major outage this weekend, resulting in a 22hour black out.

It's good to see this sort of failure in a pre-beta status, so they have the opportunity to resolve and plan for problems when its fully released to the public. Little concerning that they still don't know exactly what went wrong yet, but lets not read too much into that, as they are probably still in shock that it went out for so long in the first place.
Even Amazon had their wobbles at the start of their cloud flight, so I wouldn't be throwing stones at them just yet, let them thoroughly test before they start accepting our hard earned currency for on-demand power.
